Hush-Harbor Healing Circle
Conducting A Circle For Healing
Hush-Harbor Healing Circle (HHHC) is a collective of spiritualist healers who through our own inherent energy healing powers or through mediumship are able to impart vital, curative energy to stress-based illnesses. As spiritualist healers we work with the spirit, mind, emotions, and overall energy of the body of the recipient.
Those of us who are involved in the Hush-Harbor Healing Circle are sincerely committed and engaged in the deep process of healing and being healed from post-traumatic slavery disorder. We continually come together in a circle to heal the racist induced emotional distress wounds through our 'Hearts' (love and compassion). In the 'heart-cleansing' process we have the ongoing obligation and opportunity to keep polishing our rusted hearts of negative emotions by dis-identifying and transforming them through self-love refinement ritual healing techniques.
As spiritualist healers we are aware that once stress is removed from the mind and emotions, the body will respond naturally; this brings about holistic healing in the patient. Healers in the Hush-Harbor Circle collectively come together for 'present', 'absent', and 'distant' healing utilizing the self-curative traditions of our enslaved Ancestors along with integrating it with present energy healing knowledge and insights.
Conducting a healing circle begins by clearing the room with some aromatherapy spray (lemongrass, clary sage). Then setting-up chairs in a circle based on the number of participants. In the middle of the chaired-circle put a stool or small table with an African cloth over it and place the Adinkra 'Akoma' Symbol, along with a keepsake box with the names of individuals who need healing. The 'Akoma' Symbol means patience, goodwill, love, faithfulness, tolerance, and endurance. Thus our healing circle symbolizes 'Akoma Ntoso' which means 'linked hearts' joined together in 'understanding and agreement'.
Once this is complete each participant stands on the right side of their chair to clear negative energy by doing a ‘dry-shower’ and ‘shaking’ release. Once we've cleansed our energy we stand in praying hands meditation several minutes for focusing, then we raise our arms palms up and recites the following invocation prayer:
Oh Creator, we ask for your energy presence to help us clear and cleanse this space for our gathering to provide healing to those in need. Send your energy, healing, and inspiration to bless our work and empower our working with your divine light and energy. We also ask for the presence of our Ancestors healing spirits to be with us. So be it!
Once the standing invocation is recited participants sit in their chairs, with eyes closed place their right hand over their hearts and extend their left arms out towards the Adinkra 'Akoma' Symbol, then recite the symbols name ‘Akoma’ several times.
Visualize the healing energy of love coming from your heart light finding (state the person's name) and providing healing for (state their ailment). Our hearts has a magnetic field that is 5000 times more powerful than the magnetic field of the brain; this energy reaches out from our bodies. Visualize our powerful heart energy fighting the chronic stress inflammation that has attacked their body and returning them to good health.
Continue the visualization for about 1 full minute; depending on the ailment you may want to hold this visualization for 2 minutes or longer. From this point you just keeping performing these steps until you get through your list. As we finish we give thanks to the Creator and offer prayers of health and strength to (state the person's name).
We now release our energy to them, we know that the Creator will continue to light their way as long as needed, as we move our divine healing energy back to our circle and our hearts. We welcome the healing and love we shared with each other, and see it replenish our own energies so we feel refreshed and revitalized with energy.
We now open our eyes and stand for a good stretch and shake. We then sit back down to share thoughts and feelings about our healing experiences. We close, by giving thanks to the Creator, to our Ancestors, and to all those who came here today to assist in this special spiritual healing. We are grateful to share with each other as we close and leave our healing circle. So be it! And may Peace be with you all!
